Aches, Pains and Swells
As we grow body’s biological processes decline accordingly.
We experience mild to severe aches and pains. Event can be mild, intermittent or continuous and could lead to dire consequences.
Some studies have related the event to accumulation of blood uric acid levels (2019).
Uric acid is a waste by-product of digestion.
In digestion, the body breaks down purines in our foods with the help of the kidney.
However, where there is too much purine at a time, it becomes too much for the kidney to break down. Then forms crystals and stay in our body (Kidney stones…familiar?).
Event leads to pain, ache, swelling, stiffness, redness which sometimes restricts our movements.
Some unfavourable condition to raised blood uric acid level include over-weight and diabetes.
How to reduce uric acid in our body
Have Apple cider vinegar ( 1 teaspoon in 125ml warm water) to detoxify and help remove acid build up.
Avoid sugary and alcoholic drinks.
Try to maintain a healthy body eight.
Limit ingesting purine-rich foods-liver, red meat, venison, mushroom, shellfish, scallops, mussels, bacon, tomato puree!
Consume cherries, strawberries, blueberries, ginger, banana, eggs, cabbage, carrots (2011).
