Pay ranges vary depending on the role and location, but Walmart’s average wage is more than $17.50 an hour and the company also offers a full range of benefits. An added perk? All employees (including part-time workers) score a 10 percent Walmart discount. Plus, Walmart pays for its associates to earn various certificates and degrees through their Live Better U education program.
1. Walmart work from home job: Become a grocery team associate
Do you like talking to and helping others? In 2023, grocery accounted for $247 billion of sales for Walmart U.S., so it’s no surprise that they’re hiring online grocery team associates to join the team. You can find both full-time and part-time positions available to help respond to customer inquiries and help customers navigate the online grocery experience.
2. Become a Walmart Contact Center associate
If customer service is your forte, you can earn $30-$40 an hour with a job in the Walmart Contact Center. This involves providing customer service to customers, stores and associates via phone, chat and email (aka, there’s no need to leave the comfort of your home).
There are also remote resolution coordinator roles with the Walmart Contact Center, which means you would be primarily responsible for helping people resolve issues.
3. Walmart work from home job: Become an online personal shopper
With e-commerce sales soaring, Walmart needs online personal shoppers to assist customers with fulfillment procedures and programs. This entails entering and shopping orders for fulfillment customers, as well as reporting problems and customer issues with fulfillment services.
